All through the house...

There's a bundle of sweets that I dream of all year,
With Christmas upon us, it's time they appear.

Pizzelles—how crispy! Torrone, so apropos...
Ambrosia like clouds, wandi like a bow!

Now away to the kitchen I must swiftly dash
Before all the desserts are gone in a flash!

You would even say it glows

This year, my profession inspired my holiday design;
I would love the opportunity to ask lightbulbs to opine..
While interviewing objects might seem a little frightening,
There's no doubt that their feedback would be truly enlightening!

with every Christmas 'card' I write..

My dream of a seeing a white Christmas this year
Is unlikely to come to life, I do fear.
There's a much better chance of sugar plums dancing
Than hearing the news of a storm front advancing!

It's a pun-derful life

‘Twas the night that I wrote this, when all through my mind,
Words and phrases were stirring (and some even rhymed!)
My comic was inked on the paper with care,
In hopes that some laughter just might fill the air.

The rest of this poem was all snug in my head,
Until visions of sugar-plums danced there instead.
So to wrap this up quick, I’ll exclaim with delight,
"Happy first day of Winter, and have a good night!"

Candy is Dandy

In this unfeigned, laconic verse, I’d simply like to say,
I hope you have a salubrious and halcyon holiday!

Christmas 2009

'Twas the night before Christmas, and Jen still had not
Sent out any cards yet, but she hadn't forgot
All her great friends and family, whom she wishes much cheer
(She just thought she'd cut back on paper this year).

Christmas 2008

Rudolph the LED-nosed Reindeer had an eco-friendly nose,
And if you ever saw it, you would see how bright it glows.

All of the other reindeer didn't fully understand it,
They never realized Rudolph was just trying to save the planet.

Then one pricey Christmas Eve, Santa came to say,
"Rudolph with your efficient scnhoz,
Won't you help me with my cause?"

Then all the reindeer loved him, and they shouted out with glee,
"Rudolph the LED-nosed reindeer, you save so much energy!"

Christmas 2007

Sometimes I feel bad for the tree when it has to support so many ornaments that have been collected over so many years...

OZA Christmas 2007

Based on the equivalent human universal, this comic was drawn for OZA's holiday card.

Christmas 2006

This winter has been *ridiculously* warm. Not that I'm entirely complaining, just a bit concerned for the health of the world.

OZA Christmas 2006

For the OZA holiday card, here's a child receiving a deep metaphor (Container) as a present.

Christmas 2005

I've never been to South Beach, but I'm guessing that it might be a little more lush than my depiction here...

Christmas 2004

I *know* that octopi have 8 legs. But he had to use 2 of them to stabilize himself while making that snow asterisk!!

Christmas 2003

Hopefully I'm not violating any policies held by a particular soft drink behemoth with this comic.

Meanwhile, after sending this out to my friends, one of them (Scott, you know who you are!) sent it back to me animated. That was wild. To see it, follow this link.

Christmas 2002

These are *nutcrackers*, in case you couldn't figure it out. That means you, Chris. (How is it that my brother has known me for 22 years and still doesn't understand my work??)

Christmas 2001

Salt and Pepper greeting each other... ok, yes, so technically it should be 'Seasoning's Greetings', but then it just wouldn't be funny.
