T'was the day 'fore Thanksgiving, and all through the kitchen,
Not a side dish was stirring, not even a fixin'.
The dishes were set on the table with care,
In hopes that a great feast soon would be there.
...I'd finish this poem, but away I must dash!
For there's a turkey to cook, and potatoes to mash!
So here's wishing you the most joyful of days,
And THANKS for being you, in so many ways!
