Fruit Fright

With some fake apple juice and a slick headband knife,

One fruit gave another the scare of its life... 

(And this gross play on words is a horrific scene

But please don't let it ruin your fun Halloween!)

Homeowners!

The boxes are packed

And the tape is dispensed -

Our migration to JP

Has finally commenced.

The wonderful townhouse

We stumbled upon

Has rendered us "homeowners!"

Our renting days gone.

So once the dust settles

And we've trimmed our abode

You'll have to come visit

At our new zip code!

House hunting's quite a process, with lots of turns and twists, 

Like other buyers, mortgages, and keeping thorough lists!
But (knock on wood) if things go well, when all is said and done,
We'll have more room to call our own (and for a dog to run!)
