My toddler and my pup don't always thoroughly agree,
Though when it comes to Halloween, eye-to-eye is how they see:
Scary things are a hard no, while candy gets a lively yes...
But only if the sweets do not insist on costume dress!

When they come on the news at night, Wylie always cavorts!
